The goal of the course is to mould professionals capable of integrating ability, creativity and sensibility toward the client, the product or the idea with analysis and diagnostic skills in the use of images in contemporary society. The course rotates around the themes of project layout, production, analysis and use of photography as a personal, professional and commercial means to communication.
The dealt themes are both complementary and essential to understanding the function of the image system as a whole: photography and its history, the video clip, the analytical and productive capacities of both fixed and moving images, the commercial and artistic applications. Throughout the course the focus will also be on Image as poetry, narration, happening, social and psychological analysis.
The lecturers and project leaders are professionals of the field coming from different sectors; their role is to develop with the student’s projects and exercises finalized to train their creative and productive capacities. |
